Water is essential for life. Yet over 2 billion people around the world lack access to clean and safe drinking water in developing nations. This problem is especially acute where people face a daily struggle just to find clean water. In many countries, people are forced to drink water from contaminated sources, which leads to waterborne illnesses like cholera, typhoid, and dysentery.
These illnesses can be life-threatening, especially for young children, and the elderly water sources may be far away from where the people live making it difficult for them to fetch water.
This is very time consuming and physically taxing. Many people in developing nations lack the resources to purify water, making them vulnerable to waterborne illnesses. This is where GFA World comes in.
