What’s the Best Way to Share the Good News—God Loves You?

One powerful example is the story of Ariana, a single mother who struggled to provide clean water for her family, carrying the weight of each day’s survival on her shoulders alone. Her life changed when a Jesus Well was installed in her village. It freed her from the long daily chore of fetching water, a load that had stolen hours from her days and hope from her heart. This reliable source of clean water improved her family’s health and brought her peace.
There is a gentle rhythm to this provision — steady, like water rising from a well that never runs dry, arriving right when the need is deepest. Ariana reflected, “The joy I felt is so vast; it is so big because God loves me so much.” Through this practical gift, Ariana felt the touch of God’s love in a way she could see and hold.[1]
GFA World also empowers families through income-generating gifts. Parbeen and his wife were struggling to make ends meet when they received 100 chicks from GFA’s Christmas gift distribution. This simple gift reached into the depths of their daily need with hope they could hold in their hands. Parbeen raised the chickens and sold them in the city, earning money that he used to buy a fish farm and a cow, providing a stable income for his family.
These ordinary gifts carry a weight beyond their material worth. Eggs and grain become signs that love is not a far-off idea but a daily truth unfolding right where people live. This seemingly simple gift became a lifeline, reminding her of God’s provision and love, as described in Psalm 145:16: “You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing” (ESV).[2]
Both Ariana and Parbeen found the same life-changing truth: Provision met real needs in real time, and the joy that followed was the overflow of hearts touched by care they could see and feel. A well of water and a flock of chicks became more than resources — they became daily signs that God sees the thirsty, feeds the hungry, and stays near those who trust Him. Neither family earned this help — it came freely, a living picture of the grace at the heart of the Good News.
Healing, Hope, and the Power of God’s Word
God’s love is often revealed through miraculous interventions. Saeran, a 15-year-old boy who fell from a tree and was severely injured, found miraculous healing through the prayers of a GFA-supported pastor, a healing that came through the power of simple, trusting prayer. This act of compassion not only restored his health but also led his family to believe in Christ and His unconditional love.[3]
Similarly, the story of Pranati, a young girl healed from multiple illnesses, inspired her entire village to recognize the power and love of Christ. The installation of a Jesus Well in their community addressed their need for clean water, bringing health and joy to the villagers, turning a place of sickness into a place of healing and hope.[4]
These stories echo the promise of Psalm 103:3, which reminds us that God “heals all your diseases” (NKJV), a truth that goes past the body to heal hearts, mend homes, and lift whole towns out of cycles of sickness. That healing love set them all free.
Healing goes deeper than the body — it reaches the soul, answering the question every person asks in seasons of suffering: “Does God see me?” For Saeran, Pranati, and their families, the answer came through prayer joined to practical care. Love proved stronger than injury and illness. It was stronger than the doubts that had shaped their days. What began as one family’s need grew into a village-wide awakening to the truth that goodness never runs out.
Education also plays a vital role in sharing God’s love. Shona, a woman who had never learned to read, joined a literacy class led by a GFA-supported worker. She took her first shy steps into a world of words that had been shut to her since childhood. As she learned to read the Bible, Shona’s faith grew deep and her life began to change. The written Word became a living voice, speaking into her life in a way she had never known was possible.

Through gentle rhyme and rhythm, the book shows that learning deep truths about God starts with the simplest words. Shona found the same thing when the letters on the page opened into meaning and she heard her own name in the story of redemption for the first time.
Her testimony inspired her husband to explore the gospel, and together they became active members of their church. This change shows the power of God’s Word. As Psalm 119:105 (NKJV) says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path,” a light that lasts through every age.[5]
The gift of reading opened Shona’s world, just as a simple board book opens a child’s heart to God’s great love. Both stories point to the same truth, rooted in John 3:16: People are met right where they are, through whatever means will reach them — a literacy class, a rhyming book, a well of clean water, or the prayers of a faithful pastor. This is the Good News in action, and it is still unfolding today.
